FLORENCE // Wine Label
Project for Adobe Photoshop (ART-054-0072)
Los Medanos College
Fall 2015
FLORENCE is a fanciful wine label that I created as a wine label design assignment for my Adobe Photoshop course. The objective was to find a California Winery and totally re-conceptualize their brand and identity, which is almost always reflected through the wine label. I chose FEL (abbreviation for Florence Elsie Lede), which is a line of wines that are associated with the Lede Family Wines company in Napa Valley.

The original bottle design features a matte black finish (not shown in the mock-up), and with the garnet-colored label design, provides a combined look of modern and vintage aesthetics. The tulip illustration appears somewhat abstract, which provides a lovely contrast between the image/illustration and the typography styles/layout. The matte black bottle, the red lines of the illustration and the spherical label provide an overall sensual look.
